بحضور معالي وزير الطيران المدني المصري الطيار سامح الحفني تم توقيع إتفاق بين شركة إيركايرو (AIRCAIRO)، الناقل الجوي الوطني المصري، و شركة CFM international لإختيار محركات CFM LEAP-1A لتشغيل أسطولها المتنامي من طائرات Airbus A320neo، في خطوة جديدة ضمن استراتيجية الشركة لتحديث أسطولها وتعزيز كفاءتها التشغيلية.
حيث يتضمن الاتفاق إختيار شركة إيركايرو لمحركات CFM LEAP-1A لتجهيز عدد 15 طائرة، إلى جانب خيارات لشراء محركات لـ 15 طائرة إضافية، فضلاً عن محركات احتياطية، بما يرفع إجمالي عدد محركات LEAP-1A التي قد يشملها أسطول إيركايرو إلى أكثر من 60 محركاً.
وقد صرح حسين شريف، رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة إيركايرو قائلاً :
أن هذا التعاقد يمثل إنجازاً جديدا لإيركايرو حيث يعد تعاملها مع شركة CFM International فصلاً جديداً في استراتيجية النمو و التطوير التي تتبعها إيركايرو. فالأداء المتميز والاعتمادية العالية لمحرك LEAP-1A يُعد عنصرين أساسيين ضمن جهودنا لتحديث أسطول الشركة بما يمكننا من تقديم تجربة سفر وفق أعلى المعايير العالمية و خاصة معايير السلامة الفنية و الامان لركابنا، مع مواصلة الارتقاء بكفاءة عملياتنا التشغيلية.
من جانبه، قال غايل ميهوست، الرئيس والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة CFM International:
يعزز هذا الاتفاق الشراكة القوية والممتدة بين شركتينا. ونحن نفخر باستمرار ثقة إير كايرو في محركات CFM، كما نؤكد التزامنا الكامل بتوفير مستويات الأداء والدعم التي تتوقعها الشركة منا».
من الجدير بالذكر أن شراكة إيركايرو مع شركة CFM تعود إلى عام 2005، حيث تشغل الشركة حالياً 20 طائرة Airbus A320neo مزودة بمحركات LEAP-1A، إلى جانب 12 طائرة Airbus A320ceo مجهزة بمحركات CFM56.

سلّمت شركة CFM International حتى الآن أكثر من 10,000 محرك من عائلة LEAP، التي حققت أسرع وتيرة نمو وانتشار في تاريخ محركات الطائرات التجارية.
وتواصل CFM تطوير أسطول محركات LEAP من خلال حزمة تعزيز متانة التوربين عالي الضغط (HPT Durability Kit)، بهدف إطالة فترة التشغيل بين عمليات الصيانة وزيادة مدة بقاء المحرك على الجناح، إلى جانب نظام Reverse Bleed System (RBS) الذي يساهم في خفض أعباء الصيانة على شركات الطيران.
كما تركز الشركة على رفع مستويات جاهزية المحركات وتوافرها التشغيلي من خلال تعزيز قدرات خدمات الصيانة والإصلاح والعمرة (MRO)، وتقديم تكلفة تنافسية للملكية والتشغيل، مع الاستفادة من مزايا المنافسة في خدمات ما بعد البيع عبر منظومة MRO مفتوحة.

AIRCAIRO selects CFM LEAP-1A engines to power its new A320neo fleet
El Alamein International Airshow (Egypt), September 2026 – In the presence of Egyptian civil Aviation Minister Pilot Sameh El Hefni , AIRCAIRO, a National Egyptian Airline, has chosen CFM LEAP-1A engines for its growing Airbus A320neo fleet. The agreement includes CFM International’s LEAP-1A engines for 15 aircraft, options for 15 more, and spare engines, bringing the total potential to more than 60 LEAP-1A engines.

AIRCAIRO has relied on CFM engines since 2005 and today operates 20 A320neo aircraft powered by LEAP-1A engines, alongside 12 A320ceo aircraft with CFM56 engines.
